Goddess Worship in the Catholic Church
BABYLONIAN POLYTHEISM AND NECROMANCY WERE INJECTED BY CRYPTO-JEWS INTO THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION.
Catholics pray to Mary because she has a goddess status in the Catholic Church. Catholics will acknowledge that they pray to Mary, but they deny that Mary is a goddess. That is because they are spiritually blinded.
The Mary of the Bible was an ordinary woman elected by God to be the mother of Jesus. She died like everyone else. Any attempt to communicate with her through prayer is the sin of necromancy. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Tim 2:5). The prayers to the dead saints are attempts to communicate with the dead. God has clearly commanded that we should not attempt to communicate with the dead and commit the sin of necromancy. “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, ora consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. (Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
JEWISH CABALISM AND THE GODDESS WORSHIP
The Roman Catholic Mariolatry has its origins in the goddess worship of the Jews in their worship of the queen of heaven. The Catholic Church has renamed the pagan queen of heaven as Mary. The Catholic Mary has everything in common with the queen of heaven described in the Bible, and has nothing in common with the ordinary Biblical Mary. In the Bible God has condemned the practice of giving honor to the queen of heaven. “Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. (Jeremiah 7:17-20). Jews burned incense and served the “queen of heaven” (Jer 44). And God punished them by bringing desolation upon their cities. The Catholic goddess Mary is the “queen of heaven” in the Kabbalah, to whom the Jews have been making cake and drink offerings in the time of Jeremiah. “And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?” (Jeremiah 44:19)
SATANIC SUBVERSION
By such false teachings Satan is making a spiritual subversion to remove Jesus and enthrone the Mary figure as the Queen of Heaven. Thus in the Catholic worldview Jesus becomes secondary in the worship pattern. Even the entire Roman Church is entrusted to Mary as her property. The primary focus of the Catholic Rosary or The Roses of Prayer for the Queen of Heaven, is not Jesus, it is Mary. Mary’s roles in Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection are highlighted, exaggerated, and even in some instances fabricated. The prayers to Mary outnumber the supposed prayers to God by roughly 10 to 1. In practice they offer prayer to the Catholic goddess deceptively called Mary and blaspheme God by praying to their Mary goddess. They rebel against the word of God by repeating the blasphemous prayers over and over again. “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking” (Matthew 6:7).
THE MYSTERY WOMAN OF THE BIBLE IS ALSO A QUEEN AND A CITY
There is a woman mentioned in the Bible whose very name is mystery. “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH”. (Rev 17:4-5). “How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (Rev 18:6-8). God identifies the woman as a great city. “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” (Rev 17:18). “I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Rev 17:7-9). There is only one city that matches that description and that is Rome. The glorification of the queen of heaven is ultimately the glorification of the Roman Catholic Church. That is why the Catholic Church called as the Mother Church. It is here that we should remember the verse “THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Rev 17:4-5). The spiritual parallel between the wicked harlot queen in the book of Revelation and Mary the queen of heaven glorified by the Catholic Church is that both draw people away from Jesus Christ.
MARY AS REDEEMER MEDIATOR AND HELPER
The Catholic church teaches that salvation comes through both Mary and Jesus. But Jesus alone is the cause of our salvation. He is the only way to salvation, and there is no other name under all of heaven that can be invoked for our salvation. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12)
According to the Roman Catholic church Mary is co-redeemer with Christ and an advocate before God for those who pray to her. Mary is given the status of a Mediatrix between God and man, and a helper to sinners. But according to the Bible Jesus alone is our mediator, advocate, and helper. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Tim 2:5). My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 Jn 2:1). So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Heb 13:6).
PERPETUAL VIRGINITY OF MARY
The Holy Bible is clear the Mary was a virgin when she conceived Jesus. Luke 1:26-38. But the Catholic church goes even beyond that and teaches that Mary was not just a virgin when she conceived Jesus, but remained a virgin thereafter. But it is directly contradicted by the Bible. Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. (Mk 6:3). But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother. (Gal 1:19). Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee (Mt 12:47). But the Catholic Church escape this situation by making yet another misinterpretation of the Bible by teaching that the brothers and sisters referred to in the Bible are the brothers and sisters of another Mary. Mark 6:3 clearly states that the Mary in that passage was the mother of Jesus. The passage also states that James, Joses, Juda, and Simon were Jesus’ bothers. Mary who was the mother of Jesus’ brothers would have to be the mother of Jesus. If the Catholic church teaches that there was another Mary who was the mother of Jesus’ brothers, that means that there was another Mary, other than the virgin Mary, that was the mother of Jesus. “For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him” (2 Cor 11:4).
ASSUMPTION OF MARY’S BODY AND SOUL INTO HEAVEN
The Catholic Church teaches that Mary did not die but was assumed body and soul into heaven, where she reigns as the ever virgin queen at the right hand of the Lord Jesus Christ. But the Bible clearly teach differently that men are appointed to die and then to be judged. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven (Jn 3:13). And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Heb 9:27).
