MOTHER MARY HAS NO HEAVENLY OFFICE OF THE MOTHER OF GOD JESUS. God and the Son of God are references to eternal deity in the Bible, and such cannot have a mother. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all of the same age and seniority, none of them being senior or junior to any one of them. But Mary mother of Jesus is much junior to all of them, and is of an entirely different category. Hence it is not appropriate to call Mary as the mother of God or the mother of Son of God. And the Bible never uses such terminological expressions to address Mary. Hence Jesus never calls her mother in the Bible.

MARY IS NOT MOTHER OF GOD. MARY IS NOT THE MOTHER OF THE DEITY OF JESUS. Bible never calls Mary as the mother of God. Because God has no mother. Jesus is God but His deity has no beginning and no mother. The devotees of Mary consider her as the "mother of God." They argue : "Since Mary is Jesus’ mother, it must be concluded that she is also the Mother of God: If Mary is the mother of Jesus, and if Jesus is God, then Mary is the Mother of God. But there is a problem with this syllogism. There is the fallacy of equivocation here. This fallacy occurs when a word or words change meaning in the usage of an argument. Jesus is God. But in what sense Mary is the mother of God? Is she mother of the invisible God? Mother of Trinity?Mother of the pre-existing Son of God? Or mother of the revelation of the Son of God? And to what extent she is mother of Jesus?

GOD HAS NO MOTHER, AND JESUS PRE-EXISTED MARY EVEN AS HER CREATOR BEFORE HE CAME TO EARTH. Mary is at the most only the mother of Jesus humanity. Jesus is one person, having two natures. When we think of the triune God certainly Mary is not the mother of the trinity, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus before He came to earth was her creator. For her to actually be the mother of God she would have needed at least to exist alongside Him before He came to earth. The title mother of God is not found in the Scripture nor is it expected to be taught. Jesus never called Mary his mother, but woman. How does one give her titles that the Holy Spirit has not revealed to us in the Scripture nor instructed by Jesus or the apostles? This can certainly be misleading, and needs to be better qualified. Otherwise the theologically untrained millions might consider the eternal God has an eternal mother. It would be beneficial to Catholics to say the son of God who created Mary  chose her to be His earthly mother, instead of arguing that Mary is the mother of God.

MARY IS NOT THE MOTHER OF GOD. Jesus has pre-existence as the Son of God. Mary has no pre-existence. Col 1:16-17 tells us that 'Everything was created by Him, everything in heaven and on earth, everything seen and unseen, including all forces and powers, and all rulers and authorities. God’s Son created all things, and everything was made for Him. Jesus made it clear to all that He was from Everlasting to everlasting. Jesus answered, "I tell you for certain that even before Abraham was, I was, and I am." (Jn 8:28). Eternal Everlasting Almighty God neither had, nor has, nor will have, any need for a mother. But, for God to come down among us in the likeness of man, He opted to enter our world through the womb of a woman. “Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men, and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Phil 2:6-8). To be the 'son of man' He had to be the son of 'woman' on earth. Thus Mary was blessed by being the woman chosen to be the earthly mother of the long awaited Messiah. Her calling was to be the vessel chosen to fulfill the prophecy. 'Behold the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His Name Immanuel, which is translated, "God with us" (Isa 7:14). 'But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law..'  Galatians 4:4.
