Earthly Relations Change after Death and Resurrection

AFTER DEATH THE EARTHLY KIND OF REALTIONS WILL END OR AT LEAST BECOME DIFFERENT. EVEN BEFORE DEATH, IN MATTERS OF SPIRITUALITY SPIRITUAL CONSIDERATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THE FLESH RELATIONS. 2 Cor 5:16-17 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Here the word of God is referring to a new set of relationships even in the New Testament church. And that after death, the kind of earthly relationships will not last. Because with the death and resurrection, the real family of God relationship based on the blood of Jesus will begin. Hence the human blood relationship and marriage relationship will not matter. The Bible does not record or teach that Jesus even met His mother Mary after His resurrection. After resurrection Jesus does not appear to Mary but prefers appearing to disciples and going to the Father in heaven. His priority was equipping His disciples for the mission of the Church. Those who project Mary as Mother of God will cook up many stories to establish that Mary gave leadership to the Pentecostal event and also early Church. But this is not true according to the Biblical principles and historical narrations. Mary did not lead the church. Mary was not in the apostolic group. And nobody in church looked to Mary for help, guidance and prayer.

WOMAN, BEHOLD THY SON! JN 19:26-27 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. THE STATEMENT HAS DEEP THEOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS. THIS COULD MEAN THAT THE EARTHLY FLESHLY MOTHER – SON RELATIONSHIP WOULD BE OF NO SIGNIFICANT CONSIDERATION HEREAFTER. THE RELATIONSHIPS WILL ENTER INTO THAT OF THE SPIRIT REALM. THE CONCEPT IS SIMILAR TO 2 COR 5:16. THE FLESH RELATION OF JESUS WITH MARY IS OF NO RELEVANCE AFTER DEATH OF EITHER OR BOTH OF THEM. MARY SHOULD NO MORE CONSIDER JESUS AS HER SON AND SHOULD NOT CLAIM MOTHERHOOD OF GOD JESUS WHO DIED AND ROSE AGAIN. This fact can be considered as proven truth because of the absence of any post-resurrection appearance of Jesus to Mary. In the last words of Jesus to Mary and John, there is no direct request to John take care of Mary, or request to Mary to go into the protection of John. That is, the words of Jesus mean that after the redemptive death of the son of God, His earthly relations do not matter anymore. And there is no reference to other brothers. Indeed it is wrong to compare the words of Jesus to those of a dying head of a normal family on the Earth. Rather those were the final words of the savior of mankind in the final moments of his redemptive work. Hence the significance of those words cannot be reduced to mere taking care of the physical needs of Mary. After His resurrection, there is no reference in the Bible, Jesus appearing to His mother or brothers because of His physical relationship to them. Rather all the post-resurrection appearances are based on the spiritual basis.
