Worship is one of the most innate tendencies of mankind. Some worship the true God; some others worship many things thinking those are gods; other worship themselves thinking they themselves are god. Thus, every human being is a worshipper, in some form or another. But there are numerous objective historical evidences, and logical proofs, to substantiate the claim that worshipping Jesus Christ as God is the only true worship. We will get into the details.

CHRISTIANS WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST AS THE ONLY TRUE GOD WITHOUT DENYING THE TRINITY. Worshipping Jesus Christ is equal to worshipping the Father or the Trinity or God because Jesus Christ is equal to father, trinity and god, all put together. But those who deny to Jesus, the status of the only true God, totally fail in their worship. The true worship is kissing the son. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.  Psalms chapter 2, verse 12. Or giving primacy to Jesus Christ, the son of god, who is the ultimate revelation of god for mankind. Jesus said the time has come for the truth worshippers to worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth. Jesus is the Truth. Hence the true worshipper is the one who worships Jesus. And Jesus and the Father are essentially one. And it is the Holy Spirit who abides in and enables the worshipper to worship. Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus not the Father. Thus, in this the entire spiritual activity, the Trinity is involved and is worshipped.

THE MOST IMPORTANT SUBJECT FOR MANKIND IS THE REVELATION OF GOD IN HUMAN FORM. Trinity is only an auxiliary doctrine and framework for attaining the incarnation of God. The trinity is the theophanic revelation of God, but not the essential structure of God. It is from the trinity framework, that God reveals himself in the human form. The Trinity should be about the different functional roles of the redemptive revelation of God, and not about the anatomy of God. God’s revelations in YEHOVAH TRINITY, AND JESUS, are His own personal involvement and intervention into His creation. Such revelations of God should never be considered as the structure or anatomy of God. Trinity is to be best understood, as a temporary revelation mechanism as real as anything else, with a beginning and probably an end, at which Jesus finally emerges as the sole revelation of God, whose face we shall see, and into whose image we will continually grow, from glory to glory, unendingly in all eternity. But, no man can ever become equal to Him, or exactly like Him, because He is eternal and infinite.

THE FACT THAT, JESUS IS WORSHIPPED IN THE BIBLE, IS THE CLEAREST STATEMENT FOR THE DEITY OF JESUS IN THE BIBLE. EVEN IF, SOME PEOPLE DON’T ACCEPT HIM AS GOD, THAT DOES NOT AFFECT GOD IN ANYWAY. RATHER, THE REJECTION OF THE DEITY OF JESUS ONLY ENDAGERS, THE ACCEPTABILITY OF THE CRITICS BEFORE GOD.

Some would counter argue that, nobody in the Bible worshipped Jesus Christ, with the worship that is due for God alone. This is a wrong assumption. The Bible clearly records the events, in which the disciples worshipped Jesus. The Bible does not say that, the disciples did not worship Jesus Christ, with the worship that is due for God alone, or that we should not worship Jesus Christ as God. BUT THE ENEMIES OF THE TRUTH FALSELY ARGUE IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER. Many humans and angels also got the same worship, and they are not God. Hence simply because Jesus also was likewise worshipped, cannot be considered as the proof of His deity. They argue that in Mathew chapter 2 verse 1 onwards, the Kings or the wise men worshipped Jesus, honoring Jesus just as the King of Jews, not as God. And that in Mathew chapter 14, verse 25, the disciples worshipped Jesus honoring Him as the Son of God. They also falsely argue that in Genesis chapter 33, Jacob and family worshipped Essau, and Essau is not God. And that, in Genesis chapter 42, the brothers of Joseph worshipped Joseph, but Joseph is not God. And that in first Chronicles, chapter 29, verse 20, people worshipped Yehovah and King David, and David is not God. And that in Revelation chapter 3, the angel of the church of Philadelphia got worship, but the angel is not God.

BUT THIS ARGUMENT CONTAINS THE ERROR OF REDUCTIONISM. The instances like the wise men, or kings coming from the East, worshipping Jesus is an unparalleled event in the history of the kings of the Jews. The visitors were finding in Jesus, more than just a king of the Jews. Moreover, THE LAMB OF GOD IS WORSHIPPED EVEN IN HEAVEN. There is the lamb of God in the Old Testament, in the New Testament and is worshipped in Heaven. In Revelation chapter 20, verse 6, God and Jesus Christ receive the same kind of worship. The worship that Jesus Christ gets in Revelation chapter 5, verse 11, is different from the worship others like Jacob, Joseph, angels etc get. In Isaiah chapter 6, verse 3, Yehovah who is worshipped is essentially same as Jesus. Moreover, nobody will claim that all who receive worship are gods, and that all who got such worship in the Bible are god, or that by receiving worship any one could become God, or that if God does not get worship, He ceases to be God etc. Jesus is God, not because He got worship. He is worshipped because He is God. Even if nobody worships Jesus Christ, still He is God.

MOREOVER, WORSHIPPING JESUS IS THE BEST TRIUNE WORSHIP, WHICH IS THE ONLY TRUE FORM OF WORSHIP IN THE CHURCH AGE. Worshipping the triune revelation of the God of the Bible, is not polytheism. Worshipping Jesus Christ is not idolatry. Worshipping Jesus Christ, in whom all the fullness of God bodily dwells, and who is the express image of the invisible God, is not idolatry. Rather, it is the only way to worship the only true God. Hence, those who deny the trinity revelation and the deity of Jesus, are on the side of the most miserable ideological perversion. Those who are unwilling to believe in the truth of the revealed word of God in the Bible, will miserably fail to understand the true nature of trinity, and the identity of Yehovah, and Yahushua. They will be in the vicious circle of opposing, what they don’t understand, and unwilling to know what they don’t know.  No normal person can ask for more evidence to certify that, Jesus is the true God and the Savior.

BELIEVING IN THE TRINITY, AND THE DEITY OF JESUS IS THE HARMLESS AND THE SAFEST OPTION. THE MEANING OF HALLELUJAH ALSO PROVES TRINITY AND THE DEITY OF JESUS. In the worship in heaven HALLELU-YAH is heard. It means PRAISE TO YAH – THE TRIUNE GOD. When the triune God is worshipped each member of the trinity is also fully worshipped. Thus YAHUSHUA, THE SON OF GOD, the lamb of God is worshipped in heaven. Anywhere whenever HALLELUYAH is uttered, the worship of Jesus and the Trinity and God is done simultaneously.

TRINITY WORSHIP IS THE TRUE WORSHIP – BUT JESUS ENCOMPASSES THE ENTIRE TRINITY. John chapter 4, verse 23 says: “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH (JESUS SAID I AM THE TRUTH), for the Father seeks such to worship Him”. One can easily see trinity in this verse. In Deuteronomy chapter 6, verse 4, Moses sets down for the Israelites how they are to love their God: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” Our worship of God is also directed by our love for Him; as we love, so we worship. Because the idea of “might” in Hebrew indicates totality, Jesus expanded this expression to “mind” and “strength”. We see this truth in Mark chapter 12, verse 30; and Luke chapter 10, verse 27.  WORSHIPPING GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH, NECESSARILY INVOLVES LOVING HIM WITH HEART, SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH.

JESUS IN WHOM THE FULNESS OF GOD BODILY DWELLS, IS THE FINAL REVELATION OF GOD. HENCE WORSHIPPING JESUS CHRIST AS GOD IS THE ONLY TRUE WORSHIP. Christ is the complete and final revelation of God in accordance with the Scriptures. In Him the end of all things has occurred. Hence,  anything that takes priority over Jesus Christ becomes idolatrous. HENCE IT IS NOT WORSHIPPING JESUS WHICH IS IDOLATROUS, RATHER NOT WORSHIPPING JESUS IS WHAT IS IDOLATROUS.
